Emergency services remain at the scene of a large fire at the disused Marine Residence Hotel on Scarborough's South Cliff.
Lower Ramshill Road and Belmont Road continue to be closed to traffic this morning with cordons in place. Here's the latest statement from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue following the fire on Saturday night:
The fire has been extinguished but the structure of the property is unsafe. A cordon remains in place to protect members of the public and the road is also closed.
At this time the cause of the fire is undetermined. Due to the unsafe structure of the building, fire investigators cannot enter the remains of the property until it is safe to do so.
To date there have been no reports of any casualties, however that cannot be confirmed at this time. Thank you to members of the public for their patience while we work to make the area safe.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Belmont Road just after 1am in the early hours of Sunday 16 July.
Fire Crew from Scarborough and Filey were mobilised to reports of a fire inside a disused hotel. On arrival crews quickly requested additional fire appliances as the building was well alight.
At its peak 10 fire appliances, 2 aerial ladder platforms and a water bowser attended the incident.
Crews sectorised the incident and surrounded the fire utilising the 2 aerial ladder platforms as water tower to dowse the fire from above. Numerous hose reel jets and 45mm jets used to bring the fire under control.
