Saint Catherine’s are launching its ever-popular charity calendar for 2027 at a special gallery-style event on Saturday.
Everyone is invited to the free event, titled ‘Picture our Place’, at the hospice in Throxenby Lane, Scarborough, on Saturday 11th July from 12 noon to 4pm.
The calendar, which raises thousands of pounds for patient care each year, features stunning images of the local landscape, kindly submitted by members of the public.
The 12 images will all be displayed as an A3 print at the event and more than 100 runners-up images will also be on show to the public.
Flavours Bistro will be open to provide delicious food and beverages – including a barbecue by chef Jon Smith.
Also open will be the Barn Boutique shop which is full of pre-loved fashion, accessories and homewares.
Susan Stephenson, hospice fundraiser, said:
“This will create a real celebration of our stunning local area of North and East Yorkshire, where we have been privileged to care for our community for more than 40 years.
“We are always so fortunate to receive so many beautiful images. It is always a difficult process to narrow it down to just twelve.”
Following the launch event, the 2027 calendars will be on sale in all Saint Catherine’s charity shops and local retailers. They will also be available online at www.saintcatherines.org.uk/online-shop
