The Borough Council says public toilets will reopen this month but that one set will be missing.
Public Toilets in the Scarborough Borough are to reopen by the end of March.
That's when the Governments stay at home rule is expected to end, after which it's expected that more people will be visiting Yorkshire's coastal towns.
Scarborough Borough Council says it is taking to steps to reopen core facilities ahead of the expected influx of visitors.
Director, Nick Edwards says the public toilets are a key part of the reopening, but one set will be missing.
A project of upgrades at the St Nicolas Toilets in Scarborough is taking longer then hoped and costing more money.
Nick Edwards says temporary toilets will be used instead.
