The Seadogs suffered a surprise defeat at Ashton United, from the league below.
Both goals from NPL Premier Ashton United came in the second half.
Seadogs supremo Jono Greening spoke to SAFC TV after the game.
He paid tribute to Ashton and said his side made the wrong decisions in the final third too often:
