Scarborough Athletic's home fixture against Bedford Town will take place despite severe local flooding, while manager Jono Greening looks to secure new transfers amid growing injury concerns.
Football action will continue despite severe weather warnings and flash floods hitting large areas of the town.
Scarborough Athletic's home clash with Bedford Town is set to go ahead as planned, providing a boost for supporters braving the torrential conditions.
However, mounting injury concerns are casting a shadow over the upcoming fixture. First-team fitness is a major worry for the club, with several key squad members currently struggling.
Boro boss Jono Greening told SAFC he's sweating on the fitness of players including Alex Purver and Jack Waldron- amongst others- so is trying to tie up some transfer business:
"There's a couple on the go at the moment, it's all about getting the other clubs, obviously, you know, that got the contract with two, but we'd like to get definitely one in, hopefully two. Especially with Louis, obviously coming off injured today. He says, um, he fell for in a in a divot, when he was chasing back in the pitch, there's like a little hole and yeah, he just felt a tweak, so I decided to come off straight away just to to be safe but uh, fingers crossed it won't be too bad."
Under 13s will get in for just £1 on Saturday at the Moneyweb Stadium.
Kick off is 3pm.
