Scarborough Athletic Lose Out on Opening Day

The Seadogs were beaten 1-0 after one of their longest trips of the season.

Peterborough Sports netted the only goal of the game, three minutes before half-time.

Despite the 300-mile-plus round trip, hundreds travelled south for the first National north clash of 2023/24.

Boro boss Jono Greening spoke to Scarborough Athletic TV after the final whistle:

Athletic are next in action, this coming Saturday, at home to Banbury United.
