The biggest ever crowd at the Flamingo Land Stadium watched Boro see of semi final opponents Matlock
Scarborough Athletic beat Matlock Town 2-1 in Tuesday's semi final to secure a place in the promotion play off final.
A record crowd of 2,676 people were at the Flamingo Land Stadium for the game.
The win means Boro are now just one win away from promotion to the National League North.
Ashley Jackson was named man of the match after scoring the opening goal.
Luca Coleville added Boro's second goal after a period where Scarborough applied huge pressure on Matlock Town.
But the victory wasn't quite sealed with minutes to go Matlock pulled a goal back in the 4th minute of time added on.
But shortly after the goal the referee took out his whistle for full time.
The play off final will be played on Bank Holiday Monday next week when Boro will face Warrington Town at the Flamingo Land Stadium.

Boro had finished third in the league. That is their highest ever league finish. Promotion to National League North would put in the league that the old Scarborough Town FC played their final season in.
