The Seadogs are back under the lights at the Mounting Systems Stadium on Tuesday.
Jono Greening's men host King's Lynn in National North hoping to stay in the division's play-off places, Boro are currently fifth.
The former Manchester United winger told SAFC TV he's spoken to his players about grinding out results:
" I think we tried to talk, as a group, about managing games better, especially when we're in the lead. The dark arts of football, wasting time, going into corners. It is all part of the game, and I think we've got better at that over the last season, for sure and this group, I always say though they're a great bunch, they all want to get better. They all want to do well.
"I think they represent the club really well as human beings and, listen, we're going to give it all a right crack for the next nine games and see where it takes us."
Footage appearing to show sprinklers, at Kings Lynn, watering an already-flooded pitch, before a match that went on to be postponed, was seen on social media recently.
Greening's looking forward to locking horns with his old friend Paul Caddis, who's recently taken over at the Norfolk club:
"Yeah, I messaged him the other day to congratulate him on getting the job. I think he's happy to get straight back into it, after a few weeks out, [he] probably wasn't expecting it and it's a great opportunity for him, to get back into management straight away.
"Every time we play King's Lynn, it's always a tough game. I know they're down near the bottom, there's rumours that they might have gained a points deduction, with the pitch fiasco, but it'll be a difficult game on Tuesday, that's for sure."
Greening also revealed his delight at bringing Aidan Shehu in on loan from Hull City.
Speaking after Saturday's win at Oxford City, the Boro boss said it was a rush to complete the signing in time for him to play, though it had been worked on for some time:
" It's been a while. Yeah. We've been after him for a while. [He] seems like a really good kid. He only got done yesterday afternoon and it was a bit of a rush to get him on the bus and to meet us at the bus point, get his gear to him and stuff like that. He doesn't even know the players names, he's not training with them yet.
"But we wanted to get him on the pitch today to try and feel part of it. So yeah, we're really happy to have him on board."
After a late appearance off the bench on Saturday- Greening was asked if the young midfielder's likely to feature more in coming games:
" Yeah it just depends on the boy himself, he obviously has to prove himself when he comes on. He'll get more minutes and obviously when he is on the pitch, wherever we put him on, he's got to try and do a job for the team. And he's obviously got to do really well in training.
"The group are flying at the moment. Confidence is high and we just need to keep that up."
Kick-off on Tuesday, at Bridlington, is 7.45pm.
