Scarborough Athletic say they are seeing a big increase in season ticket sales following the clubs promotion to National League North.
The season tickets went on general sale this week.
In an interview with Scarborough Athletic TV, Chairman Trevor Bull says there seems to be a renewed interest in the club.
Scarborough Athletic's promotion to the National League has also seen more people sign up to become shareholders in the community run club.
Trevor Bull says the interest in the club has increased significantly since they won the promotion play off final.
Supporters can to apply to become a Society Member Shareholder of the club.
As a society member shareholder, the supporters become a part-owner of Scarborough Athletic FC, with the same stake in the club as all of the other society members.
The society is democratic – each member shareholder gets one vote no matter how much money they donate, they can vote in the Annual General Meeting, at Extraordinary General Meetings, and participate in society forums and events.
As a member shareholder of at least one year, fans can stand for election to become a board member. Younger fans can also become members of the society, although they’ll have to wait until they are 16 to vote, be a shareholder or stand for election.
The society’s aims are about the long-term well-being of Scarborough Athletic FC, bringing it closer to our community and helping to develop football in the area. Any money the society receives is put into achieving its aims and will only ever be used for the benefit of Scarborough Athletic FC.
