Jono Greening wants a big improvement on Saturday as Kidderminster Harriers take on Scarborough Athletic at the Mounting Systems Stadium.
Boro were knocked out of the North Riding Senior Cup in midweek by Yarm and Eaglescliffe from four divisions below.
Alex Wiles will miss out but Greening hopes to have Luca Colville available in some capacity.
Greening told SAFC TV it's important to stay in the National North play-off spots:
" We're in a good position in the league. We obviously need the support to come down and support us on the weekend. I think it really helps the players.
"We want to be better on Saturday against Kiddy, that's for sure. Perform better individually, collectively, out of position, in position. And we need the fans coming to back the boys, because we're in a good position, but we need to keep in them play-off positions.
"You can really say we're doing okay, at the moment, which obviously Wilesy's out after his ankle operation, but hopefully Luca should be back, hopefully for the weekend. Maybe not to start, but hopefully getting back on the bench. So we'd probably only have Wilesy out at the moment. We're getting a few injuries back, which is positive.
"We're in a good position. We need to concentrate on the league and to try to stay in the play-offs."
Boro Captain Will Thornton has told Paddy on The Seadogs Podcast, playing against full-timers like Kidderminster Harriers gives the team an extra kick to perform well:
Kick-off is 3.00pm.
