Trevor Bull has thanked the likes of Sheffield United, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday for their loan signings as the club battle through their injury crisis.
The Boro chairman also paid tribute to manager Jono Greening.
He says it's been a good season so far:
"Put all the ground problems and everything else to one side. Let's say we'd been playing at the Scarborough Sports Village this season. If you'd said to me, you'll be starting the new year in the play-off positions with 37 points on the board, I think we'd have taken that. So to achieve that with everything else that's going on, I think is a magnificent achievement around."
Mr Bull has sympathy for the Boro side and manager Jono Greening after the raft of knocks throughout the early months of the campaign.
He also thanked senior neighbours for young loan players like Rocco Coyle and Noah Wadsworth.
The Seadogs currently sit sixth in the National North play-off places, which extend down to seventh spot.
" It has been really difficult. We've had up to seven, sort of, first choice first team sat watching games on some matches and players are having to play more minutes than they should, etc etc. But we are starting to get through it now. We've had Lewis Maloney back getting some minutes.
"We've had Jake Hall back on the field and these are really top players that can really influence matches. because Ste Walker, who was really high up in the league's, goal-scoring slots before he got injured, he's back on the pitch again. So our injury list is less than it was, but it is still substantial.
"But of course Jono [Greening] has done a great job, getting players in on loan from some championship sites and the likes of Hull City have been absolutely wonderful with us, letting us borrow some of their young players. And those links are invaluable for a team like ourselves."
