The draw for the second qualifying round of the FA Cup has been made today.
Scarborough Athletic face an all-Yorkshire, all-National North, FA Cup trip to Farsley Celtic in the competition's second qualifying round.
The Seadogs are aiming to reach the First Round Proper for the first time since the new club was formed. They need three wins to reach that stage, where sides from the Football League enter the competition. Athletic's best run was to the Fourth Qualifying Round where they lost to Hyde 2-0 in October 2017.
Meanwhile, Whitby Town will face lower-ranked opponents in Prescot Cables from NPL West. Town made it through the the second qualifying round after thrashing Goole 6-0 last week.
Town beat the Merseyside club 3-0 at the same stage in September 2021. The Blues are aiming to reach the proper rounds for the first time in 20 years.
Ties will take place over the weekend of 15-17 September and winners will receive £3,375 in prize money.
