Filey Lions get their 2021 Santa Sleigh Tour underway tonight.
Santa is coming to Filey tonight as the Filey Lions begin their Santa Sleigh tour .
This year residents will be able to track the sleigh in real time via an online app.
Richard Hannay is from the Lions, he says it's great to have the sleigh back on the road.
The daily link to the live Santa tracker will be published on the Filey Lions Facebook page each evening. The idea is to give local residents a way to know when the sleigh will be in their area as the lions say they won't be door knocking this year as part of their social distancing measures.
The sleigh tour starts on Friday (December 10th) in Hunmanby. The sleigh will be out on nine occasions in the run up to Christmas.
Richard says it's an important fundraiser for the group and this year it's going high tech.
