Saint Catherine's Hospice says it will be selling the shop and using the funds to revitalise it's other stores.
Saint Catherine's says the funds will also help deliver new mobile outreach clinics which are set to launch this year.
In a statement the Hospice said:
"It is with a heavy heart that Saint Catherine's Hospice announces the closure of our Hunmanby shop.
We know this will come as a shock to our supporters and we understand it will feel like a huge loss to the village.
However, whilst bidding farewell to the familiar Hunmanby storefront, we want our supporters to know that every goodbye opens up new opportunities and this closure is a key step in our plan to strengthen our commitment to exceptional community care."
The Hospice says the funds from the sale will be used to help "boost community impact" adding:
"The funds from the sale won't disappear.
They'll revitalise our other eleven stores, making your shopping experience even better.
And that’s not all. The proceeds will also help kickstart our mobile outreach clinics, hitting the road in early 2024.
These clinics will bring healthcare services directly to you, making sure everyone can access the care they need.
We want to take this opportunity to say a huge heartfelt thank you to our Hunmanby community.
Your support for the local shop has been incredible.
Here's to new beginnings and a brighter community."
