Jake Charles made his first start since the opening day of the season and found the net in a hard-fought draw with Stockton Town.
Blues fell behind inside four minutes in the NPL Premier at the Towbar Express Stadium.
Stockton dominated the early exchanges before Donald Chimalilo came close with Whitby's first effort, on 19 minutes.
