Jake Charles made his first start since the opening day of the season and found the net in a hard-fought draw with Stockton Town.
Blues fell behind inside four minutes in the NPL Premier at the Towbar Express Stadium.
Stockton dominated the early exchanges before Donald Chimalilo came close with Whitby's first effort, on 19 minutes.

Charles and Chimalilo both threatened before Nathan McGinley blocked well at the other end.
Charles came close again with Shane Bland saving well before Charles levelled, five minutes before half-time.
Despite both sides' best efforts after the interval, there were no further strikes and it finished 1-1.
