Working from home has led one Yorkshire Coast company to find new ways of expanding.
Askew Brooks is a software development firm based in Scarborough. Richard Askew from the firm says the lockdowns presented them with some challenges around working practises but has led to some unexpected growth opportunities.
Richard says the shift to working from home is allowing the company to access workers it previously would have struggled to recruit.
They embraced remote working during the lockdowns, enabling their staff to return to their home towns to be with their families.
Richard says many have stayed there which has enabled to firm to open offices in other locations, he says they move to remote working has also opened up new talent pools to the firm.
