Remote Hospital appointments are here to stay but face to face appointments aren't going away.
That's the view of the Chief Exec of the York and Scarborough NHS trust.
Simon Morritt says remote appointments for outpatients have been very useful over the last two years, but they do have their limitations.
The Chief Exec of the York and Scarborough Hospital trust says that there has been an increase in the use of remote outpatient appointments since the COVID outbreak but Simon Morritt says they have their limits and wont completely replace face to face appointments.
