Yorkshire Coast residents are being urged to take action this week to help save the planet.
As part of the Yorkshire Coast Great Big Green week everyone is being encouraged to perform a random act of greenness, such as walking to work rather than driving.
David Stone from Coast and vale community action says there are lots of events taking place along the coast this week that will help people to make a difference in the battle against climate change.
A range of events are taking place throughout the week to highlight green issues.
David Stone says there are lots of little things people can do to make a difference to the environment.
CaVCA are inviting people to upload pictures and information about their own random acts of greenness.
Some of the acts which have taken place so far can be seen at https://cavca.org.uk/the-great-big-green-week/
