Plans to install more public EV charging points in Bridlington have been welcomed by the Town Council but not in the location suggested.
East Riding Council wants to put the chargers on South Marine Drive, close to the lifeboat station, but the town council say they would be better off in the harbour car park.
Town Councillor - Andy Walker - says having the chargers could be an added boost for attracting more day trippers.
Bridlington Town Council says it will be writing to the East Riding Council welcoming the extra chargers but suggesting a number of locations where they feel the chargers could be better utilised.
