Officers say they have received reports of a car going over the cliff edge.
North Yorkshire Police say they are working with the Coastguard, RNLI & ambulance service at the scene of an incident near Filey.
The emergency services are in attendance at a location on the cliffs near the Blue Dolphin holiday park near Filey.
Officers say:
"We received reports around 1.34pm that a car had gone over the cliff onto the rocks below"
"All agencies are working together to attend to the casualty and recover the vehicle.
