Concerns have been raised over access for emergency service vehicles to some parts of the Yorkshire Coast.
One resident of Hunmanby Gap asked the police and crime commissioners office what can be done about badly parked vehicles blocking narrow roads in the area.
North Yorkshire's Assistant Chief Constable, Mark Pannone, says they are equipped to deal with such situations.
Deputy Chief Fire Officer - Jonathan Dyson - says offending vehicles will be dealt with.
ACC Pannone says that if there are areas where the community feels there are frequent issues of bad parking affecting access to roads then those issues need to be flagged up so that they can be dealt with by the relevant agency.
