Northern Rail, who operate services on the Yorkshire Coast have made a statement ahead of national strikes coming up.
The Chief Operating Officer of Northern Rail has issued a statement ahead of major rail strikes on Thursday and Saturday.
Tricia Williams apologised and said the network would try to provide services with skeleton staff where possible:
She said less than a hundred of their usual two thousand services will go ahead as a result:
Network Rail has said they expect 200 more services to go ahead than at the last walkout, however this may be due to the end of the School Summer Holidays in Scotland and would still mean only 20% of services would take place.
