The force have released their past year's figures with some drops in certain areas.
There were over 1,600 violent crimes- in the area- in July last year- this figure had reduced by 300 by June this year.
There's also been a big drop in vehicle crime.

There was a slight rise in robberies and burglaries, but crime in North Yorkshire is lower than the national average, in every area, except bicycle theft and shoplifting.
The Deputy Chief Constable also revealed the force has significantly reduced its crime backlog:
