North Yorkshire's police force have revealed the latest figures for dealing with emergency calls.
Figures covering July last year to the end of June this year show a positive trend.
Here's the force's deputy chief constable Scott Bisset:
The deputy chief constable revealed an improvement year on year.
He revealed the force is currently in the midst of its busiest period, July and August.
He added that call frequency ramps up from March and April in each year.
In July 2022, just 46 percent of calls were answered within the national target of ten seconds.
An inspection of the force, last year, said the way it responds to the public "requires improvement".
