Police in North Yorkshire have expanded on improvements in their performance.
We told you, on Saturday, about improvements around 999 calls- both how quickly they are answered and the amount of crimes that are recorded.
Police have noted a boost in performance for answering rural crime calls.
This includes vast areas of the Yorkshire Coast and has been helped by effectively allocating resources.
Deputy Chief Constable of North Yorkshire Police, Scott Bisset, explains:
The force has improved matters in urban areas too, including major population centres like Scarborough.
