The NHS in North Yorkshire says it is on course to deliver the COVID vaccine to all care home residents and staff by the end of this week.
They also hope to vaccinate all health and care workers in the county by the end on the month.
Almost five million people have been given a first dose of a COVID vaccine across the UK. As many as 4,973,248 first doses have now been given and 464,036 second doses according to the latest figures.
Amanda Bloor is from the NHS in the county and says it's been a real team effort hitting that target.
Amanda says that across Yorkshire and the North East over 700,000 vaccine doses have been given so far.
