Gary Liddle has spoken about the changes at the club this week.
Whitby Town's new manager has praised his predecessor as he prepares for his first game in charge this weekend.
Gary Liddle has been promoted from assistant manager following the departure of Nathan Haslam on Tuesday.
Liddle will be leading the clubs training session tonight ahead of his first game in charge against Morpeth on Saturday.
Gary says the fact he knows the club well, will help the transition.
Whitby have won just one of their last 12 matches, exiting the FA Cup and FA Trophy at the first hurdle to sides from the level below.
Town are currently 16th in the league table with 11 points, just one point outside the relegation zone.
Whitby are away at Morpeth on Saturday and have a home game against Gainsborough Trinity on Tuesday night with tickets available at https://whitbytownfc.ktckts.com/event/wby242505/whitby-town-vs-gainsborough-trinity
