The volunteer rescue team in Hornsea have received a donation from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service have donated a thermal imaging camera to Hornsea Inshore Rescue.
The vital piece of equipment was presented by Service Delivery East Riding Station Manager Mark Chester to Coxswain Paul Jebson.
Hornsea Inshore Rescue say:
"The thermal imaging camera will be an invaluable asset to our team, greatly enhancing our ability to locate missing casualties along the challenging and vast East Yorkshire coastline.
Whether it’s finding individuals in the water or searching in low-visibility conditions, this technology will undoubtedly save lives and improve the safety of our crew during rescue operations.
We are proud to work alongside such supportive partners and truly appreciate their commitment to helping us keep our community safe.
