The Seadogs supremo wants the town of Scarborough to get behind the team and use the club as a focal point after the disruption of Covid.
New Scarborough Athletic manager Jono Greening says he's not phased by the challenge of building a squad and running a team.
Greening started his football career in the town as a youth player before heading on to a career that took in Manchester United and Champions League football.
Greening says he's prepared to take the rough with the smooth.
Greening also feels he wants the town to get behind the team as they prepare for the new season.
He says after the disruption of the pandemic he wants the club to be a focal point for the town.
