Saint Catherine's are offering a "feast for the ears" as they stage a Barbeque and Beats fundraiser.
Saint Catherine’s is inviting you to “save the date for a plate” and join them for a sizzling “Feast for the Ears” at Flavours Bistro, as they host a musical afternoon barbeque to tantalise the tastebuds, accompanied by live music from three local well-known stars – singers Callum Marshall and Devan Kellett and harpist, John Dalton.
The Flavours Barbeque, to be held from 1pm – 4pm on Saturday, 14th September, will be the second themed event at the Bistro located at the main Hospice site on Throxenby Lane and promises a perfect blend of delicious food prepared by Chef Jon Smith with an array of local musical talent.
Then menu for the event includes:
- Chicken, pork souvlaki or haloumi, served with Greek salad, tzatziki and chilli sauce
- Pork & Plant based bbq hot dogs with chilli, crispy onions and sauces
- Beef Burgers with all the add-ons
- Tabbouleh, potato salad, slaw,
- Bbq corn ribs & chilli butter
- Charcoal Baked potato, sour cream & chives
Tickets for the event are £20 per person including food, which can be obtained by calling Fundraising Department on (01723) 378406 or from Flavours Bistro.
Saint Catherine’s Hospice provides care and support in people’s homes, the community and in their hospice for adults with a life-limiting illness, and to their families, carers and friends.
The organisation relies on the work of supporters and donors to raise the £6.1 million needed to deliver its specialist care services.
