The Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team has released a public notice regarding a multi-agency exercise, which is situated along the coastline at Sewerby.
The planned operation commenced at 9:00 am and is structured around multiple casualty scenarios.
According to the coastguard, the primary objective of the drill is to rigorously test emergency response procedures, ensuring that all participating agencies are fully prepared to handle real-life incidents.
The exercise features a collaborative effort between the Coastguard, the RNLI, and various other emergency response teams.
Due to the scale of the training, the public has been advised to expect a heightened visible presence of emergency personnel in the vicinity of Sewerby. This includes an increased deployment of emergency vehicles and lifeboats operating in the area.
