Scarborough & Ryedale Mountain Rescue have had their 50th call out of 2022, at Hole of Horcum.
They were called by North Yorkshire Police to reports of a lady with a lower leg injury on the path out of the Hole of Horcum to Saltergate Corner on Friday night.
A crew from Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust had also been dispatched, with Mountain Rescue asked to stabilise the injury and then carry the patient up the path to the waiting ambulance for onward transportation to definitive medical care.
There were seventeen team members and two vehicles deployed for two hours.
