Scarborough Athletic were lift disappointed while there were differing fortunes for Whitby Town and Bridlington Town, on Saturday.
Bizarrely, none of the top 6 in the NPL Premier Division managed a win on Saturday. Scarborough Athletic saw their 14-match league (16 overall) unbeaten run ended at resurgent Nantwich Town.
The Cheshire side led in the first half, but Boro hit back quickly as fit-again skipper Michael Coulson reacted quickly to tuck away a loose ball in the home box. However, the Dabbers retook the lead after the interval and clung on for their fifth win in seven.
Jono Greening's men stay fourth, however, as sides around them failed to take advantage.

One of those are Whitby Town, in sixth, who certainly missed the division's leading goalscorer, Jacob Hazel.
The Blues dominated against third-bottom Basford United, at the Towbar Express Stadium, but couldn't carve out clear-cut chances as they were held 0-0.
Joint manager Nathan Haslam spoke to Whitby Town TV after the game:
Bridlington Town picked up a crucial three points in their battle to stay in the NPL East.
Lewis Dennison once again led the way with another early penalty and player-manager Brett Agnew doubled Brid's advantage before half-time.
Brid are three points clear of the third-from-bottom position, where records are compared to equivalent divisions nationally to see who goes down:

Agnew announced he was stepping down as Brid boss at the end of the season in midweek and spoke to Brid Town TV in a frank post-match interview:
