Police are urgently appealing for sightings and information to help locate a missing man from York who may have travelled to Scarborough.
Jason Hawker, 31, has not been seen or heard from since 4.45pm on Saturday (21 June 2025) when he left the MyVue Cinema at Clifton Moor.
Concerns are growing for his welfare after his family reporting him missing on Sunday morning.
Officers say:
"In support of the ongoing police searches and enquiries in the Clifton Moor and Stockton Lane area of the city, we are urging people to come forward who may have seen Jason or know where he is.
Jason is described as south-east Asian, early 30s, 5ft 10in tall, with a broad build.
He was last seen wearing a beige t-shirt with a collar, grey shorts, white trainers, and carrying a navy-blue rucksack.
There is a possibility he may have travelled by bus to Malton and Scarborough.
