With the removal of the "stay at home" travel restrictions yesterday and the sudden appearance of nice weather, the Yorkshire Coast could see an influx of visitors this week.
Groups of up to six people, or two households can meet outdoors, which opens the way for families and friends to take to the beaches and the moors over the Easter school holidays.
Mike James from the communications team at North Yorkshire County Council says they've launched a campaign to ask visitors to the Yorkshire Coast to act responsibly and to follow the rules on social distancing.
Scarborough Councillor Liz Colling says a number of her constituents have asked her if it's OK for them to travel inland to see friends and relatives.
