Michail Kirilov, 37, of Cambridge Street, Scarborough, has been charged with committing an act of outraging public decency and sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl.
The incident happened on Huntriss Row in Scarborough between 7.30pm and 8pm on Tuesday.
It is alleged that Kirilov exposed himself and sexually touched the girl.
He was arrested, charged, and remanded to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Kirilov pleaded not guilty and a trial has been set for 2 April 2026 at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court, 10am, court room 1.
In the meantime, he has been remanded in custody ahead of a bail application hearing at York Magistrates’ Court on 13 February.
