NHS Bosses say local vaccination services are being prioritised for more vulnerable patients.
Getting a booster vaccine might well mean travelling further than was the case for the initial jabs.
Amanda Bloor from the NHS in North Yorkshire says the boosters may not be available to everyone at their local GP surgery.
Amanda says GP Practices in North Yorkshire remain under significant pressures but that they do want patients who need help to come forwards.
Amanda says the surgeries are seeing patients but asks people with COVID symptoms not to turn up.
Amanda says there are a number of things we can all do this winter to help take pressure of the local NHS services.
