An Asian Leopard Cat has arrived at Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park
The park say he is called Jango and will be on display from Saturday.
In a post on social media the park say
"For the last few weeks we have been pushing hard to get him on display before the end of our season. His custom built enclosure has taken lots of work to finish around all the usual jobs in the park. As we close on the 1st November it will be a nice finish to an odd year!
Jango is only small - but no one has told him this! He acts far more like a Leopard than a cat! He is a similar size to a domestic cat but certainly not cute and cuddly (even if he looks it)!
We are sure he will be popular."
The outdoor animal park say they have put measures in place to deal with the current COVID situation including having a QR code in place for the test and trace system and limiting visiting groups to six people. They say...
Like all businesses in the current situation, we are working very hard to keep everyone safe, and have implemented a number of additional measures based on official guidance.
