The Fire Brigade had an unusual mission, near Scarborough, on Friday evening.
On request from the RSPCA, a fire crew from Scarborough attended an incident where a kestrel had become trapped in a tree.
Just after 9pm, officers used a 9-metre ladder and a triple extension ladder as well as ceiling hooks to release the bird of prey.
