Both sides ended the game with 10 men after a sending off in each half in the Tuesday night game at Scarborough Sports Village
The first half was scrappy with no chances of any note for either side.
The first real moment of the match was when the floodlights failed briefly.
Shortly before half time, Cody Johnson was sent off for The Linnetts, for a 2nd yellow card.
Scarborough created more chances in the 2nd half, with Cameron Wilson shooting over the bar, Dom Tear heading straight at the keeper and Harry Green hitting the post, though the offside flag had gone up.
Boro looked favourites to steal the win until Bailey Gooda was shown a straight red card with 10 minutes remaining, for bringing down Margetts and denying a goalscoring opportunity:
Speaking to SAFC TV after the game, Scarborough Manager Jono Greening wasn't so sure it was the right decision:
The visitors nearly won it at the death with a shot from distance going just wide.
An impressive Tuesday night crowd of nearly 1400, including 40 who'd made the long journey from West Norfolk, watched the game.
Jono praised his player's for their battle, but felt they could of done a little more to win the game:
The Seadogs next head to high-flying Alfreton who have an impressive 17-match unbeaten run at home.
We will have full match commentary on This Is The Coast Extra from just before kick off on Saturday.
