North Yorkshire Police are trying to make our local road safer for cyclists.
The close pass campaign was put in place to educate drivers about safely passing cyclists and being aware of the potential dangers.
Alex Butterfield is North Yorkshire Police's Chief Inspector Specialist Operations.
There are also hopes that with more drivers using dash cams in their cars, it could lead to a reduction in accidents that occur on our roads.
Alex Butterfield hopes that the scheme can continue to grow in North Yorkshire.
