Bridlington's Hinge centre are holding their summer fair this afternoon.
The charity has continued to operate during the pandemic, but as with many organisations they have found it difficult to fundraise.
Deputy Manager Megan Robinson told Paddy at Breakfast they are looking forward to being to hold a proper fundraising event again.
Today's event, which runs from 12noon until 4pm at Bridlington CYP, will be the first time in 18 months the centre has been able to hold a big public fundraising event.
There will be a whole host of activities running 12 noon, until 4pm, including;
- Raffle & Tombola
- Glitter Tattoos
- Balloon Modelling
- Children's Craft Tent
- Carnival style games
- Bouncy Castle & Inflatable rides
- Live Music
- Cake stall
- Food, Drink & Ice Creams!
Entry to the event is free with small donations welcome for each activity. All funds raised will go towards various on going community projects at The Hinge Centre.
Megan says they are looking forward to seeing everyone.
Bridlington CYP is situated on Gypsey Road, on the Havenfield Estate. Activities will be hosted outdoors, on the grounds to the rear, next to Harpers Bar.
Hand sanitising stations will be available at various points, across the Fayre. Lateral Flow tests will also be available from the Centre, for anyone who wishes to use them before/after the event.
