Hat Trick for Yorkshire Coast Football Trio

Whitby Town, Scarborough Athletic and Bridlington Town were all celebrating on Saturday.

Whitby Town are up to third in the Northern Premier League Premier Division after beating Nantwich Town on Saturday. Goals from Jacob Hazel and Josh MacDonald sealed a 2-0 victory for the Blues.

As heard on This is the Coast Extra, Scarborough Athletic grabbed their first win of the season, by the same score, against Warrington Town. Ryan Watson, with a penalty, and Kieran Glynn were on target for the Seadogs.

Meanwhile, Bridlington Town booked their place in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup with a thrilling 3-2 win at Consett. The Seasiders will be in Monday's draw alongside Whitby and Scarborough.
