The Flood Warnings come into force this evening and affect South Bay between Aquarium Top and the Toll House.
Two flood warnings have been issued for Scarborough's South Bay:
High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding this evening. Flooding is expected from 19:30 to 21:00 on 21/01/2026. Locations most affected will be properties on Foreshore Road from the roundabout to West Pier.
The other warning affects Sandside:
Flooding is expected from 19:15 to 22:00 on 21/01/2026. Locations most affected will be properties on Sandside around the Old Harbour
There are also Flood Alerts between Whitby and Filey and for Bridlington.
