Two bin blazes occurred 90 minutes apart in Whitby and Scarborough say North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue.
Officers in Whitby were called out around on Friday night, around 10.15pm, to Abbott's Road.
The crew attended the fire involving 2 wheelie bins to the rear of a house. Firefighters extinguished the blaze using 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
The cause of the fire was deliberate and the incident was left in the care of North Yorkshire Police.
Then around 11.40pm, on Dunslow Road, on the Eastfield Industrial Estate, Scarborough crew extinguished a fire involving a waste bin in a car park. The cause was unknown.
