North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were called out to assist a trapped deer in Scarborough.
At around 8.15am, on Saturday, officers were sent to assist a deer on Seamer Carr Road, Scarborough.
The animal had trapped its head between railings.
Small tools were used by members of the public to eventually release the trapped deer.
Firefighters in Scarborough were again called out later that night, around 9.10pm, to help gain access to a property.
They allowed paramedics to treat a 91-year-old lady and then to help them move the casualty to a nearby ambulance.
