The county's Fire and Rescue services were kept busy in the early hours of Wednesday morning in the Scarborough area.
Scarborough crews dealt with a small fire to rubbish in the communal hallway of flats, on Scalby Road in the town, just after 1am. They believe it was caused deliberately.
A small electrical fire in a socket in a house caused smoke damage throughout the house, around 3.20am on Columbus Ravine, in Scarborough. Scarborough and Filey crews extinguished and ventilated the property.
Then around 6.30am, a moped believed abandoned was completely destroyed by fire. Officers again believe the cause was deliberate. Sherburn's fire crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish.
