Recruiting staff for Scarborough Hospital remains challenging but the situation is being helped by the graduation of new nurses from CU Scarborough.
That's according to the the Chief Nurse of the York and Scarborough NHS trust, Heather McNair who says the graduation of 30 nurses from the university in September will be the latest step in improving the staffing situation at local hospitals.
Two million pounds has been invested in increasing the staffing levels at the Yorkshire Coast's Hospitals.
Heather McNair says attracting new staff remains difficult and retaining staff has also been a challenge, but Heather believes progress has been made..
