That's the view of councillors in the town who want to see an assessment of the facilities carried out.
Town Councillor John Haxby thinks the current playgrounds leave a lot to be desired.
Town councillors have been identifying items in the resort that would benefit from some investment as the Town is expected to receive cash from the Borough Council to improve some of it's "key assets".
