Filey's MP says local hospitality businesses are still facing tough economic conditions.
Kevin Hollinrake says inflation, energy costs and wage increases have been hard for the hospitality industry over recent months and says the industry is need of support from local customers.
He's hoping people will support local businesses.
The MP for Thirsk, Malton and Filey says the local farming industry has also had a tough time and he's now concerned that too much farm land is not being used to produce food.
Kevin Hollinrake says he is concerned about the amount of farmland being put into sustainability schemes.
Last year the Filey MP had spoken about concerns over productive farmland being used for solar power installations saying "I'm keen to make sure we don't sacrifice food security in the name of energy security"
